Welcome Home
Acrylic painting on canvas with crochet border, made in 2023.
This painting is based off of a zine I made for my final project in my Graphic Design Degree. The concept was each double spread shows a scene of a character in a room of a house and if you put all the pages together they’re all connected in some way and forms a complete picture.
It’s funny because when I made this painting, I was living in a close-knit six person sharehouse and the chaotic and vibrant energy of the painting is very much reflective my life at the time.
I love when life and art intermingle like this, feels like that Uni zine predicted my future a little bit (just a little).
